A friend is sponsering or co-sponsoring a Charcuterie event through 2011. http://theyummymummy.blogspot.com/2010/12/charcutepalooza-2011.html

You can also follow it on twitter with the hashcode #Charcutepalooza11

The first event will be duck prosciutto from the Ruhlman/Polcyn book Charcuterie, a book well worth owning. Michael Ruhlman has been roped into this event in some fashion.

Feel free to let The Yummy Mummy know you are participating.

Make certain that the breasts have not been brined, lots of ones as well as whole birds are. Try http://www.dartagnan.com/

Warner,
I called a friend of mine who knows a guy. The guy just called me and he might be able to hook me up with a couple of all natural breasts.

I'm in too. Had the book for a while. We have a lovely duck farm here (http://www.mariposa-duck.on.ca/default_eng.htm), and duck is available from my local mart, but I've never seen Magret unfortunately. Maybe I'll pop over the river to Quebec (where duck is very popular) to see if I can get one, and get some cheeks and croissants while I am at it.

One thing though ... here, yummy mummy has a specific connotation; some might be complimented by it, others outraged. Is this the same there?

Is a yummy mummy anything like a MILF?

That's how we would take it. Some mommy's might be amused, some flattered, some freaked....

Yummy Mummy is her title for her blog.

In her spare time she teaches pre-schoolers to cook.
