Kathy,

I don't think there's any way to do so. When's the last time you saw canned or jarred cole slaw in the market? It's always refrigerated.

I suspect that the canning would cook the cabbage. Have you tried freezing?

I buy the pre-packaged stuff year-round. It's actually quite good. What I like best though is Broccoli Slaw; with a sweet dressing and some raisins added in it's super good.
