I've had a half-full jar of mufalleta mix in the fridge for about 3 months. Any idea if it's still safe to eat? It's been refrigerated the whole time, and looks OK, but that's far longer than I intended to keep it. And the liquid is as much oil as vinegar ...

Homemade or store bought? In either case, if there are sufficient quantities of food pathogens in the mix to make one ill, eating it would not be advised. However, in addition to the vinegar many of the ingredients were pickled or brine cured.
Might as well get the most conservative opinion out there and say "when in doubt, throw it out".

It's from Central Grocery.
I know other folks bought jars of this back when the CI NOLA gathering happened. How long did you keep it for?
