You know you're just lurking in hopes of finding a chili question :P :!:

It was THE magazine that first catapulted me into taking cooking more seriously; the web site was icing - meeting all of you, riffing with Da Bull Man, etc., finding people that were well-twisted without getting their shorts in a knot. It definitely went to hell in a hand basket and then Fuzzy saved the day. Though I gotta say, Fuzzy, your patience in maintaining the site for so long before blastoff is and was marveling.

So, yeah, I miss that site, but more importantly I hate seeing potential wasted. It should be a learning tool through information sharing and the owners should care. The conundrum of espousing one thing and practicing another is the essence of what brings down relationships, organizations, and political systems; in short, it breeds distrust. Without trust the human condition becomes the alternative of that which it is truly capable. Such actions creep along the fringes of an old truth, attributed to that famous chef, Eddy Burke, "All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing." Now this situation is not that serious but that’s why it’s creeping on the fringes, laying its seeds, spreading the tendrils, etc. It’s a sucky, coward’s way to live.

Y'all have a good day, cause you deserve it - you ARE one of the good guys (& gals) - Hell, you might even put your white hat on today :!: :D While you're at it, kick a little ass, it'll make you feel better and it'll get that yucky taste out of the back of your throat!

Total of 4 posts today on TOBB...at that rate the Editor will have almost nothing to ignore...whatever shall she / he do with all the time? :roll:

Perhaps in keeping with tradition she / he will post chastizing the members for not posting. :roll:
