Mary,

I managed to miss LiveJournal and MySpace, and the only thing my twitter account does is accumulate followers (which is amazing, given that I don't post). I'd hate to spoil a perfect record.

Someone can feel free to set up a cookaholic's page on FB if you want ...

Just created a "Cookaholics" group on FB but mispelled is as "Cooksaholics". Let me see if I can fix the typo.

Nance

Yup, was able to fix it and invited those of you who are already my "friends". If you're not, please feel free to look up the group and join. Not sure where this group will lead us on FB but whatever happens should be good, I hope ;)

I did and now I will have a cup of tea. Social networking takes so much out of one. :D

All,

Speaking of cookbook reviews, about time I published some of my own. I've been borrowing cookbooks from the library, and found a few obscure gems:

I would not be able to do my blog without the Chicago Public Library's inter-library loan system. I am fortunate too that we have lending priviledges with the suburbs and, as I work in Evanston, can easily pick books up

at their main library.

Now let's hope our state budget doesn't force more library cut backs...
