Post subject:  Easy pressure cooker chili verde

I saw this last week on Serious Eats and decided to give it a try last night. I used 2 poblanos, 2 cubanelles, 1 anaheim and 1 jalapeno and 4 tomatillos along with the onion and garlic. It was really very good. I didn't use enough chicken so it was a little thin for a stew, but the flavor was lovely - delicate and slightly spicy. It was done in 30 mins starting from taking the peppers out of the fridge, so it is a weeknight option.

I have got to learn to how to use my pressure cooker like this more.

Oh great, another use for Asian fish sauce. Looks good. I love the speed of PC meals. Thanks for posting.

Would an immersion blender work instead of a hand mixer? Also, did use whole cumin seed or ground?

I used an immersion blender right in the pot and I used ground cumin because I was out of the seed. Time for a Penzey's order. :)
