... what do you think?

I don't like it much; it's way too Pinterest-like. Mostly, I can't figure out what I have and haven't read.

Thoughts?

I like stuff available chronologically. They do mention wanting to put up great pictures as a goal. I suspect they need to attract Pinterest users to the site.
If the info stays as good then I will cope.

Got a link back from Kenji:

http://www.seriouseats.com/latest

This gives the posts in chronological order. It's still the horrible pinterest layout, but at least the ordering makes some kind of sense.

I wish the articles varied in size some, to eliminate the overly regular layout that makes my eyes want to glaze over. But overall I like it.

I agree with wishing the articles varied in size as I tend to glaze over too. Deb

While I don't love the new SE layout on a widescreen computer monitor, I do like the way the mobile friendly version displays on my phone. I have used it in the kitchen several times.

Got a serious grin the other day when CI delivered Sept\Oct issue with Ultimate Flaky Biscuits the same very day that Kenji's Food Lab delivered Super-Flaky Biscuits to my FB feed.

Anyone pony up $10 to rent the Food Lab video series?

Feh, the "latest" feed still doesn't display the articles in chronological order.

I can't seem to find any star dates in the Kenji's log. Didn't he learn protocol from Picard when he was a young.
