I am starting in the world of downloading audio things to an iPodtouch. Any recommendations for foodie material? I am not so smart with this thing, so if you suggest something tell me exactly where to find it. I don't have a teenager here to help me.  Lynn |

Have you gone to the ITunes Store? There is a podcast section, you can serach for foodie podcasts and you can listen to them before you subscribe. |

I've been enjoying Whiskey-Cast all afternoon. Hearing about something 50% more peaty than Laphroig is amazing. |

I don't care for Scotch, this may be due to an unfortunate interaction between me and a bottle of White Horse at a cast party for Oedipus Rex at age 17. However I do like the expensive Single Malts, neat. 50% more peaty, how. I thought they just dug that brand out of the ground and bottled it. Check here http://accidentalhedonist.com/ |

Probably the most peaty/smoky scotch you will ever taste is called The Peat Monster by Compass Box which makes others as well. I have seen it between $50-$70 in Canada. To save $ you could just lick the inside of a wood burning fireplace - same flavor. Late at night after the other scotches have gone to bed is the best time to try it. |

 WinoWe visited Oban and some other gems in Scotland. My fav right now is actually Laugavulin. But our scotch budget is sort of "on ice" so to speak (maybe that fireplace licking will be in order if the economy does not pick up). Plus here in Idaho the liquor stores are small and state run. No big huge ones that stock the exotics. eb eb |
