I often send my food photos to Joanne Chang, the author of "Flour" cookbook. Her recipes are wonderful. She accidentally used one of my photos as her Facebook headers. She thought the photo was taken at her bakery. Her associate apologized and wanted to know more about me and my photos. Little did I know she would put my little biography on the Facebook! Yikes! I'm usually a private person and this was unexpected. Thanks for letting me share and happy baking!

Amazing photos and you and Jaden are both gorgeous. Maybe this will get your photos out there because it is much more than lighting and a good lens, you are VERY talented.

Mahalo for your kind words....you're waaaay to gracious. I would love to invest in another lens but it costs a small fortune....$1500! :o

That's awesome! I don't have the patience for the photography part. It's a shame. When you bake like we do, you want to document it. I love Flour!

I always love your photos Lu. They always make me want to bake. That is a gorgeous photo of you and Jaden. He is very handsome and you are beautiful as well as talented. I too love Flour. My daughter brought me a doughnut filled with pastry cream last Christmas that was the best doughnut I've ever had. I was mad that I could not go with them on that outing and missed having lunch there. Congrats you deserve it.

Oh my GOSH Lu, that is so cool! I loved your bio and learning what a fascinating background you have, and the picture of you and your son is gorgeous (as are your food photos, always). And how awesome to be featured on Joanne's Facebook page -- she's terrific. Way to go!!
