So I'm googling for lentil curry recipes and ran across this. See if you notice anything amiss...

It was on a site called yummly.com. Perhaps they could rename it dumbly.com.

Oh come now, I suppose German Coconut-Curry Stew is not the most traditional dessert for your genuine English Barbecue, but I hear it's really catching on these days.

Over at Epicurious.com, there was a post about a wonderful gluten free meal. In the comments, many people mentioned that the author's website is filled with recipies That don't work. In rebuttal, others are asking why the dissatisfied are "being mean."
Seems to me, that the first thing a site like Epi requires is recipes that work, above and beyond the quality of the prose accompanying them.

Becky,

That's a pretty common reaction from any group which regards themselves as an embattled minority. I gave a bad review to one of SF's vegan restaurants, and I got hate mail for it for weeks.

I'm also pretty sure I've eaten coconut-curry stew in Germany. Although it wasn't barbecued, despite our best efforts; the coconut milk kept putting out the coals.
