Jim, Looks like an ambitious chili and a bit on the spicy side too. Will you make it with the hot chilies too? And did Kenji have to call it "The Best Vegetarian Chili?" I'm sticking with Vegetarian Bean Chili which ironically is a 30 minute recipe but better the longer it sits. Troll on, Jim........and GO PATS! |

Till now my prize possession was a can of beans given to me (thanks to Lindsay) that was signed by C.K., Jack Bishop, and the entire C.I. test cook team...even Diane! Latitude is given since he too is from a "Foreign Land". Perhaps I should send him a little (or a lot of?) back hair for his pantry?  Sorta my way of getting some "skin" in the game.

Yes, Kenji did have to call his vegetarian Chili “The best” because he did some hard time [two to five] at the Station Street Culinary Correctional Facility where only “the best” will do.
