Great article and hilarious website. My mom said when she was pregnant with me she craved corn dogs - never before or after. Yep, I like corn dogs. Apparently I like them so much that from the womb I compelled my mom to eat them! If only I could channel those powers again...

I have noticed that frequently stuff tastes weird to me. I go through a couple of days a month (what could it be I wonder) where nothing tastes like it should. It freaks out my husband because he thinks something is wrong with our food.

I didn't have many cravings. I couldn't stomach anything in the mornings except sausage biscuits and orange juice. I also went on a bit of a chocolate malted binge, but I never wanted anything weird or that I hadn't wanted previously. The one thing I noticed was that fruit tasted absolutely divine. I've always loved it, but it never tasted so good, before or since. Cary's favorite foods are fruit. I also think that my tendency to pepper the snot out of everything I eat has something to do with the fact that he will eat some fairly spicy things. However, he's pretty unimpressed with sausage.

Also...
My mom craved beer and nectarines -- still two of my favorite things.
