I still have my old Cooks....slick paper and color photos...going back to 1984. It was a joy to read and to cook from and taught me a great deal. After more than 35 years as a subscriber, I cancelled last year. I found that I never used any of the recipes anymore.

Maybe they're just "keeping up with the times", or reflecting the current state of affairs, which is a "dumbed down" society in general!

I also cancelled my paper subscription to Cook's about 6 mos. ago. And I do still have very early editions of the first round of CI. I am also sad about the deterioration of the product(s) :cry: . Thanks, again, Fuzzy for this meeting place. I really value everyone's input. :)
