This is a new one for me. I love dates and would like to give this a try sometime. Has anybody ever used this?

Todd, check out this link . It seems so simple to make it. I ran across a couple of recipes (Lebanese, I think) that used it while I was searching for recipes using garbanzo flour.

Todd,

I use it for a middle eastern recipe or two. I'd reccomend buying it in a bottle; one bottle will last you for years.

Todd, it looks really interesting. What would you use it in/on?

I think it would be interesting to try in some cookie recipes that use Molasses or maybe replace some Brown sugar in other recipes. What about a topping for some ice cream.

Todd,

Hmmm. I can't say I'd put it on ice cream. That would be kind of strange. It's not that sweet, actually -- certainly not as sweet as maple syrup.

I use it in Hudhud Ganouj, for one thing: http://www.sudairy.com/mer/recipes/hudhud.html
