This is a new one for me. I love dates and would like to give this a try sometime. Has anybody ever used this? http://www.abesmarket.com/organic-date-syrup-2-pack.html?utm_source=pricegrabber&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=452_713757650526 |

Todd, check out this link . It seems so simple to make it. I ran across a couple of recipes (Lebanese, I think) that used it while I was searching for recipes using garbanzo flour. |

Todd, I use it for a middle eastern recipe or two. I'd reccomend buying it in a bottle; one bottle will last you for years. |

Todd, it looks really interesting. What would you use it in/on? |

Todd, Hmmm. I can't say I'd put it on ice cream. That would be kind of strange. It's not that sweet, actually -- certainly not as sweet as maple syrup. I use it in Hudhud Ganouj, for one thing: http://www.sudairy.com/mer/recipes/hudhud.html |
