I just received this book:
http://www.amazon.com/The-Plan-Eliminat ... s+the+plan

and am going to attempt it, at least starting with the 3-day cleanse. It makes a lot of sense to me but sounds very challenging. Especially since alot of my favorite foods are on the high end of the reactive list. One of my colleagues at work met the author and paid for the personal web program, and yes, while it was a hard plan to follow, she feels the results were worth it. She feels great and looks fantastic.

So, this week is my preparation: hydrating (always a good thing), probiotics, and liver detox. I'm planning to officially start next Tuesday. My goal is to shed 14 pounds, get rid of excess puffiness/belly fat, and feel more energetic. Without exercising.

Good luck, Nancy. Let us know how you make out. I need some detoxing myself. I now declare the holidays OVER.

I just finished 4 hours of prepping for most of the first 3 days of meals. This is ridiculously labor intensive. Not sure that I'll last after the initial 3 days. Just way too much work.
I'll let you know how I feel after Day 3!
