Hi,

Look at these "exceptional" wines - http://www.williams-sonomawineclub.com/

The prices are way above exceptional. $10 wines for $30 plus shipping but they do include recipes and insightful sommelier tasting notes. "The Txakoli is acidic, thin, fizzy and light"

I agree, Laurie! I love grits, and those sounded outstanding. What is with people who don't like grits? I always thought it was a southern thing, but a lot of people don't like them or won't try them....Sad.

And how did you make it through the weather system?

K, we didn't have anything but rain. Lover eastern Mi was hit by tornados. 7 dead is what I've heard. 2 years ago I woke in the night to the freight train sound you hear about. I sat up to listen, it only lasted a few seconds. The next morning we discovered a tornado had touched down just down the road. Took the garage and kitchen off one house and the roof off another. Scary stuff.

Thanks Tim, I'll check out the wine now, but I'm glad your 1st. linked went to the grits recipe! :D

That's pretty normal for W-S. Most of the gourmet stuff you see in the catalog came from bay area stores at 1/5 their price (plus postage). That's how they make a profit.
