I have trouble imagining that cat would taste good, so I think he should be fired for that reason. I have no problem with people eating all tasty animals lower on the food chain. I could never eat my cats, but nobody is asking me to either. I don't think it should be a firing offense, but I suppose the station was probably inundated with crazy cat lady letters. |

Maybe he was promoting the use of "catsup", which, as we know, is a hanging offense in italy. |

I posted this, but on the wrong board: My favorite Chinese restaurant in Ithaca was fined and eventually closed for serving cat. When my neighbor told me about it, I said it was a stereotype. Then she showed me the newspaper article. I didn't eat chinese food anywhere for years......... |

Kss, You ever see Sweeny Todd? Cat meat has been served in a lot more cheap restaurants of all ethnicities than anyone really wants to think about. Fwiw, cat is not normally part of cantonese cuisine that I know of. Dog, on the other hand ... |

Years ago, a very popular Mexican restaurant was closed here because they were serving cat and dog. We had always enjoyed eating there. I couldn't eat out for months. Fitzie |
