Well, if you think that's going to excuse you from cooking thanksgiving dinner, think again! I know your family expects to see you in the kitchen dealing with every thing and never raising your voice.
What? You plan to be wrapped up on the couch with the baby playing googly-eyes?! Never happen. Grandmothers are standing by to help you with that (I hope) and letyou get back to your regularly scheduled programming.
(joking :P )
Congratulations, and we'll not think the worse of you if you fall asleep mid-post.

Geekboy's a little sensitive about post specifics on teh interwebs, but we call him Cary and he is 6.5 weeks premature, although that doesn't seem to bother him much. He had to stay a couple of extra days at the hospital to monitor his heart because his pulse rate spiked after birth.

Everything here is a total mess. There was a list as long as my arm of stuff I needed to finish by Xmas, which is when he was due. (I was even going to post here bragging about all the casseroles I had the foresight to put in the freezer -- one actually made it to the freezer. ) Cary and I hang out in the bedroom all day while Geekboy tries to clean up the living room and set up the nursery. Good thing that play pens -- excuse me, play YARDS -- are pretty much portable nurseries these days.

Hopefully we'll get it straightened out soon -- soon as he heads off to college.

Ahhhh a little boy. This is your change to get pampered, play it for all it's worth while you can and before Geekboy is on to you.

Enjoy your little bundle of joy!

Laurie
