I was in LA this past weekend and guess what? I went to my first Thai Restaurant. That's right, I have never been to a Thai Restaurant before. I don't even know of one in Michigan. I'm sure there are some here somewhere.
Anyway, the food was excellent. I definitely like Thai Food.

Ah, I remember my first Thai restaurant...

Ironically it was in Ann Arbor.

Ann Arbor! Good to know. That's 90 minutes from my house. Thanks.

Thanks Becky. There is a Thai Restaurant in Midland which is only 15 miles away. Who knew. I have never heard of it before now. I will have to check it out.

Just wrote something that vanished, that's what I get for playing with the smilies. What I said was that I was in AA about 24 or 25 years ago so I can't vouch on the restaurant still being there. I also said if you liked the Thai then you should try to find a good Vietnamese restaurant. I like it better than Thai and I LOVE Thai.

Mary,
I just had a spooky feeling! My friends said the same thing about Vietnamese when I was out there.

Is that an invitation? It's been 27 or 28 years since I was there last. The highlight of the trip for me was Salmon Fishing in the Pacific. I caught the 2nd largest fish on the boat and when we got home, we grilled one of them. I think it was the only time I enjoyed Salmon.
