So sad to learn that Marcella Hazan passed away today .
Her books have been my bible for Itslian cuisine and I was fortunate enough yo have taken a class with her many years ago at Aspen Food and Wine. She was a marvel

Sorry to hear that. I have several Italian cookbooks but hers are the only ones I use with any regularity.
Most of my Italian recipes are written on the backs of envelopes, etc.

Sorry to hear this. I have all of her books, and she has always been my favorite Italian CB author.

A good long life though. She really accomplished a lot in getting Americans to look at Italian cooking in a different way.
