The appliance store called. They can't fix the part. They can't find anybody to fix the part. They have a call into VIking to see if anybody who sells Viking appliances might have one of the parts sitting on their shelf somewhere. Maybe I will get lucky. Keep your fingers crossed.

I just called the appliance store and still nothing from Viking. I can't believe it's taking this long.

I agree with fitzie. When I had an issue with my BlueStar, resolution came when I spoke with the regional rep.

I guess I will have to try that next. I'm thinking the Viking website will be a good place to start. I really didn't think it was going to take this long.

I went to Viking's Webpage and I found an AUTHORIZED Viking repair service in Saginaw. I am expecting a phone call in the morning. Needless to say the place that I have been working with isn't authorized by Viking. Hopefully I will get some answers in the morning.

I talked to the authorized repair man this morning. He let me know that he might be able to have the board repaired for about $150.00. I also checked out the website allvikingparts.com and they let me know that Viking does not keep parts in for their appliances after a certain amount of time and that they just want you to buy new appliances. What a load of crap.

Have you Googled the part number? Try it. Something might come up.

There isn't a part number on the board. I went and picked it up last night from the appliance store and to get my $993.00 credited back to my card. This only took 25 minutes because the lady couldn't find the transaction or my account. I had to look at my CC account online and tell her the date. For some reason, they charged it as a Cash amount and didn't even apply it to my regular account. HMMM! This morning I dropped off the board to the Authorized Viking Repair man. Hopefully they will be able to have it fixed.
