I like the 2nd version colour scheme and proportion much better than the first. You can definitely see it on chef whites, t-shirts and brochures as a signature logo. D is definitely more orange, but I liked A better by a hair. To me D has a slightly more Asian vibe (on my screen its heading towards red, which is a lucky colour in China and used here quite a bit in Asian restaurants).

D looks orange on my bb but yellow here....weird. I prefer it on both though.

D it is! I also sent this to a couple of friends, one in branding, the other an architectural designer, and they both loved it. Business cards ordered!
