My contact really likes this version (Thanks Darcie). Does anybody like this version with an Olive for the O in to?

I'm not loving the chef hat on the "c'. It distracts me and makes it harder for me to read. Can it be moved so as not to connect to it? Love the egg/garlic thing for o's. How about putting the egg in "Love" and the garlic in "Cook" and leave the "to" as is? might be easier to read.

My contact really likes this version, so the one with or without the olive will probably be the one that the deciding committee will choose or maybe they won't like anything I have done and they will want me to start all over.

The fact that someone 'read' the olive as an egg despite you indicating what it was should be all the evidence you need that it is not effective.

I find the overall image too confusing and 'cutsy' and blue is a very weak color for advertising. Walk down an aisle of laundry detergents or breakfast cereals, for example.

Simpler is almost always more effective since you only have a fraction of a second to grab someone's attention.

i will admit to missing Todd's word's entirely! On second look I see the olive....but it's harder to picture without colours, which is why my eye read "egg".
Todd, they are all great, but I agree the blue is the least compelling for me. At the end of the day though, the customer is always right, even when they are not.

I am not a fan of the Blue either. Hopefully she will be outvoted when it comes to the color.

I have to say I liked the garlic better. To me, the olive says "Love to Drink."

And just to clarify, I was not criticizing the misinterpretation but rather meant that it was an excellent example of what happens in reality. Foremost, we evolved visually; too much 'noise' is confusing because it sends too many signals.

When Fuzzy and I met we shared many stories but one that sticks for both of us is the lack of concentration our clients spend on the information we send them. Too often they will read only half of the original message and then respond with questions, the answers to which were in the second half of the original message!!!!!
