homegrown rice

With the record rainfall we had here the last two months, a rice paddy may not be so far fetched! LOL

That link is interesting, though I could never grow enough rice for my appetite. However, I have read some threads on a gardening forum I frequent, and was surprised how much rice was produced in such little space.

Yeah, I'll tell you from living in Nepal that you can produce 200lbs of rice in a paddy the size of a suburban backyard.
