Gotta love bloggers...

The U.S. Geological Survey has pinpointed the earthquake as having occurred along the previously-unknown Bush's Fault . ..

Shoulda seen that one coming! :lol:

Even though I was on the 8th floor of a really old building in Brookline, MA I didn't feel it despite the fact that people around me did. I was focused on finding the perfect pair of eyeglass frames! I found them but didn't get to buy them because we were evacuated.

The east coast quake is a bonanza for geologists and seismologists looking for more funding! :geek:

Thank you all. Watched a news conference with Mayor Bloomberg. If winds are predicted to be sustained at 39mph or above, the MTA will be shuttered Saturday afternoon, and most likely thru Monday. This is looking very serious. Anyone in the area, please heed the warnings. Please.
And yes, she can veer to the East but safety is better.

We are planning on leaving Sunday early to head to Conneticut for a week.....wondering if we need to re-think the plan. Hotels are booked and we are looking forward to a week away, but not a hurricane. :cry:
