I was given a Kobo reader. Does anyone have this reader or another brand? I'm wondering if I should return it and get a Nook.

I bought I used Nook on e-bay and really like it. I have the wifi one, but not the color one.
It did take a little getting used to....not have a book in my hands, but now I really like it.

I have a Kindle, love it. Not the WiFi one, but now wish I would have sprung for the extra $$$$. Don't know why though, just to have it I guess...lol.

I have a Kindle and I love it. I put off getting one because I thought I would miss holding the book, turning the pages. It took me exactly 1 minute to realize otherwise....and for travel, it is the best!

I have a kindle and an iPad. For pure reading, I find the kindle superior, but use them both extensively. I love having lots of books in such a small package, plus can search the index of Modernist Cuisine :)

You've been holding out on me. I'd kill for this. Do tell.

Just download the index, and use it in an app like GoodReader, or iBooks directly. An index to the kitchen manual is also there. Of course, it can be printed as well.

I do suspect that not many people know the index is available in PDF form :)

I have both the kindle and the iPad -- have to confess that I'm using the iPad almost exclusively now although it is a little bit harder to read in the sun. I just like minimizing my electronics.

I haven't read a real book in over a year. I find all the books I want online. If I can't find it, the library also has e-books that self destruct in two weeks. I'm still waiting for this to happen and my reader to go up in smoke just like Mission Impossible.
