I don't think you'd actually want to eat it. Hot cheese pumped through resin tubes and melted into place with a hot glue gun?

The Cornell Paper is pretty interesting. Skip to the section "Materials Challenges".

I know lots of traditionalists out there, but ya gotta admit, even if you don't eat it, trying to do it just because you can is pretty interesting. Ok, I am one of those guys: T2 "spoke" to me, cause I would have invented Skynet just to see what it did, and probably would have worked on the atomic bomb too. Classic engineer-sociopath I am. But it sure is fun!

I think for those like Paul....who have that quest to see if it can be done, this is quite interesting. But for me, I want to identify what I am eating and I don't want it to be complicated; I just want the best ingredients and I want it to taste great.

The best use I've seen for those edible QR codes is the people that use squid ink to put them on a plate -- the link takes people to a website with the nturitional information that is now required (at least here in Boston) to be supplied on demand. At least it makes it whimsical.
