I haven't read that thread for years. Should go do it again. Also, Frank's trials and tribulations of the coconut pie would be worth another read, if I could ever find it. Good times.

Wasn't that coconut and blood pie :?:

Snicker.

So, I'm thinking about this on the way to work. There are a few really good thread on tobb, if you could find them.

Tim vs. the Tunisian??sp
Tim vs. Therin
Tim vs. CI
Tim vs. AC princesses
gosh, is there a pattern
Jes vs. sugar beat guy
Moi vs. chili wrangler--in my defense, cw just got under my skin with the condescension
Frank vs. beans(it's a miniseries; sort of Texan masterpiece theater)
Amy vs. bolognese(I love that one, you can hear her padding off to check on something)
Lou vs. Beef Wellington
Fairlane vs. Thanksgiving

I know I am forgetting a zillion.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Amy,

Do you remember that Eric (Veal Boy) and I created a Cook's Illustrated test recipe for Cilantro Pesto for Lou? We never figured out how to Phish the recipe to him as if it came from Cooks.

Oh Lord Tim, I'd forgotten all about that. It would have been priceless if you'd actually been able to get away with that!

I'm very lucky I have a spouse who didn't inherit the "cilantro tastes like soap" gene. I think he'd put it on his granola if he thought of it.

Oh, too bad I wasn't around. It's very easy to fake an e-mail address.
