Kathy Henry wrote: Sounds great, but where is lunch? Don't want to drive all that way just for dinner! No. 7 does not take reservations so we need to be there early to get a table. Hey, Kathy can get a reservation at NO. 7 Restaurant any time of day. Just call Matt Suchomski and say hi from Tim and Lib. LINK TO NO. 7 When is this happening. Lib and I fly to NYC on Christmas day and plan on eating at No. 7 on Sunday. Tim |

How about we meet around 10AM at Grand Central, wander through Penzeys and uptown to the the tasty cart and MOMA, then catch the number 7 train out to Queens for lunch here? (Or anywhere that looks tasty)Then the train back into the city and dinner at 7, probably around 7PM, then chatting or a food coma until folks want to go home and rest. I know some amusing late-night theatre that the adventurous could join in on. It starts at 10PM ish. this is it. I've been a fan since their tiny storefront days in Chicago. It's a hoot. |

The date would be Jan. 8th. If anyone wanted to do more on the 9th we can talk about it over lunch/dinner. |

It isn't just Penzey's there is quite a good food court there. A couple of butchers and a fish monger as I recall. |

Just a reminder that this is next Saturday-wear comfy shoes and bring a bag to carry home the loot we will find as we go. If we get a head count we can see about making arrangements to eat at #7 Sub. Lunch will be out in Chinatown in Queens, and I wouldn't assume everywhere takes credit cards. My cell phone number is 847-602-3193 ( if you don't have it already). |
