Well, we could have progressive meetups. Starting in NYC, then on to Colorado, or Vegas, and then to Napa

You can bring the pup to our apt in NYC, no?

And a progressive cross country party? We're driving cc, maybe early May, to deliver our truck back to my brother, either ending in Denver or LA. This could be the start of something wonderful!

I'll see you when you get to Napa.

If you are meeting in either NYC or at the CIA we are interested. We live about half way between them.

Haven't been here in a while as I lost all web-sites because of computer problems a while back. Fuzzy happened to send me an e-mail a few days ago saying this was back up, so I came and looked.

How about we meet at the Penzeys in Grand Central, then go from there and end up having dinner at 7? ( the restaurant, not the time, although that could be the same)
Warner- it would be great to have you guys along!

Sounds great, but where is lunch? Don't want to drive all that way just for dinner! No. 7 does not take reservations so we need to be there early to get a table.

Well, what can't people get in their home towns-great chinese? Thai? Jewish deli? There are so many places in this town we could probably find a fusion of all of the above. Any places you've longed to try? I've been interested in hitting the Flushing version of Chinatown for the shopping experience alone, but I bet there's good eats as well. Sherida mentioned the kitchen design exhibit at MOMA, which could be fun, and I'm sure there are places to eat near there too. All ideas welcome!

It is probably a bit cold, but the last time we were in NY there was a Halal cart that had lines around the corner 24/7. It was next to the Hilton on 50-whatever (near Radio City). We didn't get a chance to eat there but it smelled soooo good I can't stop thinking about it.

The good one is 53rd & 6th, disgonally across from the Hilton as you mention. We stayed at the Doubletree on Times Square one weekend for our anniversary and ate a few meals from there (spare no expense...).

We also like to go to 88 Palace under the Manhattan Bridge. Dim sum. Usually we're the only non-Asians.

Is the Soup Man open again?
