That is, if you live on the East Coast. I'm going to be spending December and January and part of February helping out my brother who lives on Long Island. A Board get-together at the CIA would make for a nice excursion with a tasty lunch. Otherwise, PM me and we can meet up when our schedules collide. I will have my car, and am planning trips to visit other brother in DC and friends in Boston.

Keep the potential dates posted, our Engineers are on Long Island, (Medford) I never know when I might need to make a trip out there.

Ya know Beck, I kind of had it in the back of my mind that we could have a mini meetup, see the MOMa kitchen exhibit, go to No. 7 and generally mill about. I could take the train down, maybe Nancy and Kathy and Pete in addition to Frank, (and of course, any of the rest of the gang) but if you are going to be on Lawn Guyland, how would we get there from here? Subway, train?

And you know, those dates involve snow. We get that up here in this part of the country....

:o We could probably join you in NYC depending on the weather & the date. Just a note - No. 7 is not open for lunch, but we would love to go there again.

I'm in! :P
Nancy

With one caveat. I won't be available any weekend in December or the 3-day holiday weekends Jan/Feb. I'm don't mean to be difficult. It's just that these 2 social butterflies already have plans

I take the LIRR into the City from Oceanside. Then it's Metro North to Poughkeepsie and a taxi to the CIA. But a day doing food things in NY would be great too. The second weekend in January would work for me, no matter which trip we did. The CIA is open then, but I would have to see about reservations for lunch.
Heck, anytime we get together we manage to have fun.

I may be in NYC in March, but not before that.

So here I am on LI. Are folks still interested in the second weekend of January? Any locals who would like to just make a date for dinner should just message me. I can get the LIRR into the city with no trouble.
