Hi All,

We are up in the air right now. I may have some overseas or domestic travel. Is there a no-later than date that we need to RSVP?

Thanks

Ken

To get the group rate bookings need to made by April 4th. There is a 5 guest-night minimum that we need to fill to keep that rate. Laurie (MiGirl) has made one reservation-I don't know for how many nights. So we really only need one more reservation to fulfill our contract. Shouldn't be a problem. I hope to hear that Sabine has booked pretty soon.
As for the event itself, I can add people to most reservations with just a weeks notice.

Becky, I booked 3 nights June 4-5-6, in one of the larger suites. I don't mind if the group uses the kitchen. And if we need a gathering place, that's fine too. The suite looks large enough to accomodate a crowd.

Alright people, This week is the deadline for us to have made enough reservations to keep the cheaper rates at the fabulous Belden-Stafford for our outing. I know we have one reservation for sure, but have not heard from anyone else. I will make a reservation to hold the price if necessary, but would love to know any of you have decided to play and just not announced it. We only need two more room-nights reserved to keep the price. Sabine, will you be with us?

I think Sabine may be looking for a room mate. Anyone need one?

Well shoot, My cousin had to change her plans and can not come with me so I invited my daughter. I would have been more than happy to share a room with Sabine. If anything changes I will let her know.
Since it's my daughter and I, I also changed to the smaller suit so it would be more economical. I originally said I would be driving, but we have decided to take the train so we do not have to drive in the city. The offer for use of our kitchen is still open.

I just talked to the hotel, and we still need 2 room-nights booked. Susan from the hotel will hold the rooms until I get back to her, which I won't do until Monday, so we have a few more days. As I've said, I will make a reservation, even if it's just to cancel it later.
I'm not sure if it's the economy or of people want to do different stuff, but this looks like it's going to be a small event. I have heard from:
Todd
Kathy and Pete
Laurie
Katiepie
BunnyW
Maybes are Sabine and Tim and Libby.
and that's it.
I know a few locals who may want to play, but otherwise this will be a very special crowd.
If you think you can come, please let me know!
How about you Minnesotans? It's not that long a drive!

Becky, is anyone else but my daughter and I staying at the hotel? I won't have a car so was hoping someone that does would also be staying there. As far a the demo's go, since my biscotti partner is not coming with me, I may do a duxell or some kind of sauce as a demo. How soon do you need to know?

To anyone else going that has a car, will you be staying close enough for us to catch a ride to any of our events? Tim how about you or are you coming by bike?

I booked our train fares today. We arrive Thusday late afternoon. Will take a cab to the hotel.

Laurie

Hi Laurie
I thought I posted a reply to you, but I'm old, I may have not sent it.
Todd has a motorcycle, I don't think Tim does. We will be taking public transportation as Marilyn does this all the time. Am looking forward to meeting you & your daughter.
Kathy
