Trink,
That stuff is not meant to be user-friendly. And it told me something ... your login cookie is being stored. But for some reason it's not being used. I'm not quite sure why that would be; can you delete those cookies, manually log in, and see if it works after that?
Nancy,
There probably is some way to fix it on IE. However, I don't have any computers with IE (I only do Mac and Linux), so I can't diagnose it or give you help on things like resetting cookies.

Yay - I think it works now. Thanks, Fuzzy.

I guess I'll just have to live with either logging on and off or staying logged on for a while. Nancy

Or are you just making fun of me and I'm not getting it because its Friday night, was a long first week back after the holidays and I have a cocktail at my side? But seriously, if I don't log off you'll always see my name in the legend as a registered user. Or should I be hiding myself? So many questions, and the night is just beginning.... Nancy

If you don't log off you'll find that you're automatically logged in next time you visit. Logging off clears the cookie that keeps you logged in. Or are you pulling my leg??
I never log off and (I think) you'll only see me showing up as online here for about 5 minutes after I wander off somewhere else.

Okay Pete, I'll take you're word for it. But this is different than the CI BB (and there isn't anything at all wrong with that!) So, if you see me as logged on 24/7, oh well! As long as no one minds, I don't mind. Nancy

Nancy,
After an hour of inactivity, it stops listing you as "logged in".
