Jim,

Pictures are currently limited to 400K and 1024p x 1024p. I can't think of a good reason to raise that limit; generally if someone is trying to post a bigger picture, it's by accident.

This information is not displayed anywhere but the Administrator Control Panel.

Perhaps this isn't obvious, but if you click on the image in the thread you get a larger version. The image in the thread itself is only a thumbnail.
