Alina - Sorry for the looong delayed response - renovation issues being settled.

My model is DLC-7P. I searched from one end to the other, twice, and didn't see it.

On a different issue, but appliance related, my Vitamix blew a bearing in a puff of smoke a few years ago; they had a new one to me within 3 days!!

Sorry Wino but it is included: The recall applies only to riveted blades of food processors that are in the Model or Series Numbers listed below. The number will start with a Series Number, which may be followed by a suffix, and is located on the lower, right corner of the front panel of the packaging of the food processor and on the bottom of the food processor unit.

I had emailed Cuisinart when I could not get to the online form. I received a response to the online one within a day and today I got a response to the email. I may be getting 2 replacement blades :o. Email said within 2 weeks. Going to use mine today for Rugelah filling.

I bought mine quite some time ago from Costco. Of course, Costco keeps impeccable records and mailed me a recall notice.

Apparently there have been a lot of requests for replacement blades, maybe more than they expected. Got this note from them today:

Thank you so much for your ongoing patience. We want to keep you advised of the status of your free Cuisinart replacement blade. Our blades are fabricated using precise manufacturing processes, which of course means, that they take some time to produce. We are producing new blades as rapidly as possible to meet the demand resulting from this replacement program.

When your blade is about to be shipped, we will send you an email so you can anticipate when it will arrive to the address you indicated on your replacement blade registration. In the meantime, you are able to use all other cutting implements and accessories that may have come with your Cuisinart food processor.

I was in the recall as well, my blade does have a hairline crack which I had never noticed. I finally got through to the form and ordered a new one.

Mine actually arrived in only a few days, I was quite surprised how fast it came!
But watch out for that packaging it comes in, I found it nearly impossible to get the blade out and managed to cut myself twice before I was done. The new blade is incredibly sharp.

Linda, thanks for this; I'd read their re-packaging instructions and was thinking how obsessive it was - I had not read the unpacking instructions... ;)
