So our new stove is a "Kitchenaid Superba". Apparently this line predates the interwebs, because I can't find a damn thing about it by searching.

Anyone know anything?

I found a lot on the Superba wall ovens, mostly about problems with the self-destruct/cleaning feature.

JB,

Yeah, and I can find stuff about the Superba dishwasher too. Nothing about the ranges, though.

I dug around (because I really don't want to get up from my computer and clean the living room) and found some stuff about the new model gas ranges. Apparently, KA still hasn't gotten their act together on the self-cleaning oven problems. If you look at Consumer Affairs' top complaints forums, you'll sometimes see something about the ranges. Of course, that's just people who are unhappy with their ranges. I didn't see any complaints about the stoves, though, just the ovens on the ranges.

So, calibrate and proceed - - - with a fire extinguisher nearby  :o :D

If it's still working this long, you'll be fine :P
