http://www.costco.com/Cuisinart%c2%ae-C ... 47110.html Any here have one of these? I've been reading a lot about this oven recently and I'm considering replacing my BSO with one. I love the idea of steam since I love bread making. Those who have one seem to think it's the best idea ever. I'd like to know more. |

Apparently not. Given that my apartment is frequently 80% humidity, every oven I have is a steam oven. |

Well, I've been following a discussion about these ovens and the owners rave about what great toast it makes as well as how moist the foods come out. The downside is that they can't fit a 1/4 sheet pan, can't fit a large loaf of bread and you can't place them under cabinets due to the moisture they produce. I'm just intrigued by the proofing capability and the overall steaming possibilities. But I'm not completely convinced one way or the other as yet. |
