About 15 years ago my Aunt moved out of her house and gave me her set of Pyrex Green and White Crazy Daisy Princess Mixing bowls. Last night I broke one of the bowls. I am so bummed. I love these. Bowls. I found a replacement on Ebay. Hopefully I will win the bid. It's probably going to cost me $20 or more to replace this one bowl.

Todd: I was going to suggest replacements.com but it looks like they don't have Pyrex daisy mixing bowls in stock.

Haven't done that for awhile but If I remember correctly, Pyrex shatters spectacularly....

It was really bad. It took the broom, a dry Swiffer, a Wet Swiffer and then another dry Swiffer to get all the shards and I'm sure I missed 1 or 2 somewhere waiting to be found when I am in my stocking feet.

I feel your pain. I have (had) the same set. It was a gift when I was in college. I broke the next to the largest one. I'm pretty sure the neighbors could hear me saying naughty words. I looked at ebay, too. Hope you win your bid. There's a Re-Use store in Corning, and they have lots of Corningware and Pyrex, so I keep looking there. Everytime I go to a yard sale, it seems, there's a set for sale, in another color.

I won the bid for less than I was anticipating.

Yay! I love eBay for finding replacements for my discontinued stuff.

I think I may have one of those. Have a whole bunch of mismatched Pyrex bowls. I don't know their style names. Have a whole bunch of old Corningware too, the kind that can go on the stove. I didn't think to look for it. Glad you found it.

I have Corelle Ware in the attic in that pattern. Trying to remember whether I also have mixing bowls.
