1 Sale a Day has these items on sale today. I don't need a scale, but I could use a new set of grinders. Any comments on the quality?

I have never seen the point of a salt mill beyond theater and have reservations about the long term durability of battery operated mills in general.

If I needed a pepper mill, I would take a coupon to B,B &B to see if I could score a Cole & Mason Derwent Gourmet Precision Pepper Mill. At $40, it is modestly priced and FWIW, it has been recommended by an irrelevant and disreputable food magazine that claims to perform unbiased tests on kitchen equipment.

OTOH, Since food is theater, the Kalorik Mills could be perfect. Imagine the fun of accidentally tilting the mill when passing the pepper and having it spew pepper [or salt] all over the place.

Todd,

Those grinders don't look like a bargain even at that price.

Thanks for the info. Sometimes the deals here seem like a good deal and then some days, not so much. I did buys some rubber bandy things for my Great niece so that she can make rubber bandy things for her friends.
