I have way too many kitchen tools, but this is just too cute. It's a spifter - a little spoon that sifts. And it has three screens. Will someone please tell me why I shouldn't get this:

Only one fairly large one - which means the holes are a bit too large for fine work.

Wow, I really do have too many kitchen tools. I've got three including a large triple mesh which is excellent for sifting.

And it is called "spifter". Just buy it for the sole purpose of being able to refer to it during conversational lulls.

Lindsay,

Because this:

http://www.amazon.com/OXO-Good-Grips-3- ... B001713L84

... is 1/3 the price, and is good for things other than sprinkling 1 tablespoon or less of spices?

Crazy talk, I know.

Lindsay, I think its super cute, but overpriced. I love gadgets and have OXO's 8", 6" regular and 4" conical and use all of them regularly.

So now that you've shown me what I'm missing, I have these 2 added to my save for later cart on Amazon: spice sifting spoon and sugar sifting spoon. Total for both is $7.32 and I am less likely to mush or misplace the sifter part.
