They have 99% positive rating with more than 14,000 feedbacks. I'd say they're on the up-and-up.

The thing that makes me nervous is that high-end manufacturers like BS have MAP (minimum accepted pricing), and this range (in my zip code) goes for over $6K. Does anyone know if floor models are excluded from this?

It's a scratch-and-dent. They can't expect it to go for full price.

I know that, but all BS dealers are regional and not allowed to sell outside their region. Should I assume (based on their listing) that "regional" means NY/NJ/greater NY region is one region, and the rest of the country is the other?

Amy

Edited to add: I just spoke with them again, and they are a "dent and scratch" seller. They said they are not hampered with any restrictions to sell to me in Colorado. I think I'm seriously considering this unit. It's WAY below retail, and I can always replace the kick plate and handle if the damage bothers me.

Just don't look down and you'll never notice it. There's nothing down there but reasons to clean, anyway.

Just bought it. I asked for a discount, and they gave me $100 off, along with the offer to do a new kick plate at cost.

Me extremely happy.

lol, and here I am ready to tell you that the GE is a great stove. I have the 30 inch dual fuel and am loving it.
Enjoy the new toy, and NO MORE ACCIDENTS. (said in my very sternest mom voice).

Just found out my BlueStar is being delivered tomorrow!! SO excited.

Hopefully, we can get the stone work that needs to be done finished this weekend so I can get it installed by mid-next week.

What should I make first? I'm thinking with a 22K burner, it should be inaugurated with a big-a** stir fry. Thoughts?

This is torture. I'm staring at a great big crate on my front deck, and we're not going to be able to un-crate it until tomorrow.

A second Christmas! Put on some Carly Simon and enjoy the suspense.
