I will never, ever, ever, ever shop at BB&B again.
I received my dinnerware today (partial shipment). They sent me the wrong pattern. I ordered Aqua, they sent me Opera. The customer service agent I spoke with told me I could either ship it back (uh huh...like I'm going to drive 25 miles to do that) or go to the nearest store (3 hours away) to return it. I asked to speak with a supervisor, who then promised to send me the correct pattern, except, OOPS! "we only have five dinner plates in inventory, and when we run out of those, we will not be getting more."
The WORST customer service I've experienced in a looooong time.
Buyer beware.

Amy,
You leave a complaint with BBB about BB&B?

Hi,
Does anyone remember the Mikasa Outlet Stores that sold their Maxima Bone China which was guaranteed against breakage. It was beautiful, sturdy, thin, light and reasonably priced. Is there nothing similar?

Amy I just called our store and they don't have any in stock. The person on the phone told me that if they told you they only have 5 plates in inventory, that includes all their stores.

Thanks Todd. I don't think this was ever sold in any store...online only.
The problem is I really love the pattern, and now I'm going to have to find something I love as much.

If it's any consolation, I find that with the wide rimmed plates that unless you can get a 12 inch one it is difficult to plate the food. The rim gets in the way.

Hi Amy, I bought an online only item through the store, and I believe that they let me use a coupon for it. It's worth a try. (I broke down and bought a pasta attachment for my kitchenaid, the one that makes bucatini and other pressed pastas like large elbows). Good luck! Nancy
