So have you made these cookies? I have an oatmeal cookie recipe that calls for potato chips, they are one of our favorites. The recipe came from my grammie way back in the early 70's. I sometimes add butterscotch chips and or nuts as well. They are crispy and chewy.

I haven't made these. The link was posted on a blog that I read and I thought they sounded pretty good.

We made potato chip cookies for Christmas. I think they were potato chips, sugar and butter. They were very good and nobody could guess the secret ingredient.

Cookie Verdict: Good, but not "kid friendly"....the sweet aspect does not come through and the coffee grounds tend to dominate. Probably would not make these again.

Ilene,

Thanks for letting us know. Now we'll avoid them (although I think Kris would have in any case).

If you're looking for an ugly-but-tasty cookie, why not do "Brutto ma Buono" cookies?

(hmmmm ... looking for recipe online, not finding. I've seen it in several Italian cookbooks though! Will find later)

Ah, that's why I couldn't find it! Plural, not singular:

You can also add cocoa to them to make them chocolate. mmmmmmmm.
