Thanks for the link...we never seem to eat all of the cranberry sauce, so I'll try this.

Great idea for that leftover cranberry sauce! Plus I have leftover sour cream from making that brownie caramel, so that's two leftovers in one. Thanks!

Another idea for leftover sauce (the recipe calls for a can but I'm sure homemade would be better even if you don't have a full can's worth). This is the first pie I ever made, now that I know how to make a homemade crust I'm sure it will be even better.

Leftover cranberry sauce? Leftover cheesecake? Heaven. Assuming you've made both,

It's a great cake - I've made it many times.

I wish I had these recipes back in October. My leftover cranberry sauce didn't get used up before it started to look too sad to eat.

Jean, is the pie tart at all? DH is fussy that way, so if it is I'd sub Golden Delicious apples for the Granny Smiths (he has a huge sweet tooth).

If your cranberry sauce has things like shallots or garlic in it, CC has a nice little recipe for vinaigrette made from leftover cranberry sauce. I made some last night and used it on another CC recipe, Harvest Supper Salad, along with some of the leftover smoked turkey. It was nice to feel full without feeling like I was going to have to be rolled into bed. This may be my new go-to After-the-Feast dinner.

Carey, it's got some tartness but not pucker at all, there's a lot of sugar in there plus the sauce is already sweetish, and the crumb topping. So I don't think you need to sub out the apples.
