I'm planning on making the vodka dough today but won't be able to use it until Wednesday. Does anyone know if I can keep it chilled in the fridge for 4 days (recipe says up to 2 days) or do I have to freeze it? And what is the down side of chilling the extra 2 days? Thanks Nance |

I've noticed that the dough gets an off color and flavor after more than a couple of days. I'd just freeze it right away. It doesn't take that long to thaw and then you don't have to worry about it. |

Hey Nance, I rolled out my dough after chilling and put it in the pie plate then froze it last week (used Pam Anderson's CI all butter recipe). Of course as I recall, in NYC you might not have the room in your freezer. We'll see how it turns out. The other Nancy |

Ah Nance, interesting idea! But since I've already frozen it I'll just take it out Tuesday night and refrigerate until Wednesday. And as an aside, I would never attempt to do this baking in my apt with 1 foot of counter space. I'm upstate where I have ample room and freezer space. Ah, the country... Nance |
