I think the Betty Crocker Pineapple upside down cake is the best around too. Sometimes the old standards from BC are still the best.

The picture of the Banana bread looks perfect. I also hate that gummy sticky bread, I'd like to find a muffin I could freeze without the sticky wet top. Maybe I need a date with my 36 year old BC cookbook!

When I used to make banana bread, I used the Laurel's Kitchen Whole Wheat recipe (yes, really). I quite liked it despite its healthfulness.
