I'm in a bread rut. I make 16-24 loaves of ciabatta at work every day, as well as a wonderful seeded bread every couple of weeks, and at home I make bagels, brioche, multi-grain and foccacia, but I'm bored to tears with all of these.

Anyone making something wonderful they care to share?

Amy

P.S. Becky, what was the bread recipe out of the Boulangerie book you love so much? I sent it to you when you were at McMurdo.

The last bread I made were the Parker House rolls from the KA site. I can buy all sorts of chewy, crusty breads so the soft rolls were a real treat. And CI's pizza bianca; I know I have mentioned it a million times, but I seriously love that stuff.

I've been making sourdough Swedish Limpa Bread -- sort of a sweet rye bread with orange peel, fennel, and caraway. Cary loves it.

The loaf I love is the pan de maize. It's a great yeasted corn bread, totally different from American cornbread.
You could get into some of the really dense rye breads.

I am a sucker for pumpernickel and when I was in university I relied upon things like Betty Crocker, etc. One pamphlet I had was easy breads from Fleischmann's and darn if it didn't have this weird recipe for pumpernickel. How weird?:chocolate, molasses, potatoes, oh my! It may not meet your standards but I still make it and love it. Here's a link (hope it works): http://www.food.com/recipe/super-good-pumpernickel-bread-70028  :D

Cheese and beer bread, puttanesca bread, prosciutto bread, naan --- all fun -- and if any of these sound good let me know and I'll send you the recipe.
