Ilene and Todd,

I made the tart too and posted about it on my blog. I found it a bit disappointing but my friends gobbled it up.

Ilene, did you find the caramel filling to be runny? Mine would ooze in minutes from being out of the fridge.

Todd and Darcie

My carmel filling was not runny and did not ooze even when cut. I thought I had burned it...when the thermometer hit 360, I pulled it off heat and it kept smoking while I added the cream and butter. I thought that the cookie crust was too thick and the carmel layer too thin, but I am not a chocolate fan. As you mentioned, my guests loved it, but I like the cake better...thanks for sharing the recipe
