Jes Not a scrap left... Kenji's crust is perfection... flakey and tasty. I also made vanilla ice cream from a new book I got and it was also a hit Ilene

Well, I decided to make peach pie. I did Kenji's crust with half butter and half leaf lard. Twas wonderful...very soft, much like his vodka crust, but easier to form, and flakier. Thumbs up! Amy

Beautiful pies! Can't wait to give the crust a try. I was never a huge fan of the vodka crust because I like a crust the holds a crimp.
